In 1925 Harold and Mildred Soderberg opened up a flower shop at 27th & E Lake St (the current home of T's Place). In 1932 they moved their shop to 33rd & E Lake, and Soderberg's Floral and Gift has served the Minneapolis area with fresh flowers, plants, gifts and floral arrangements ever since. The current owner, Howard O'neil, has 40 years of experience as a florist & floral designer. He and his staff have won numerous awards for floral design over the years, while remaining committed to purchasing over half of their stock from local growers.
